HUMMER of South Portland

Gawron Turgeon Architects designed a new dealership for HUMMER of South Portland.

The building is 7,000 square feet and contains both sales, retail, and service drop. Located on 1.6 acres, the site also includes a test track consisting of vertical steps, mogul, modulations ramps, boulders, ground clearance and inclined log cross.

The exterior and interior components of the building work as one, to provide the backdrop to support the client’s product. This modern design, with exposed structural curved steel, bent aluminum panels with exposed bolts and natural light filtering through the storefront glazing, are all performance type materials represent the strength and ruggedness of the HUMMER product.
