Gawron Turgeon Architects, P.C. worked with Yarmouth Senior Housing and Avesta Housing to develop a 28-unit senior affordable housing community near downtown Yarmouth, Maine. Our GTA team worked diligently to ensure that the design fits well with existing structures in the neighborhood and becomes an integral part of the existing Bartlett Circle community.
Bartlett Woods—which graciously serves seniors aged 55 and over—is approximately 28,200 SF and offers one- and two-bedroom apartments, a shared community room, on-site laundry, a telemedicine room and also outdoor spaces and trails. With a 39 KW photovoltaic system integrated into the roof design, the project will see low electricity operating costs.
