Last beam goes up at cPort Middle Street branch
The Portland-based cPort Credit Union is on track to complete construction this year of its new branch at 35 Middle Street in Portland, ME. The last beam was hoisted into place at the site on Wednesday April 18, 2018.
A tradition during milestone construction events like these is that key collaborators will sign the beam before it is put into place. This beam was signed by representatives of Landry/French Construction and Gawron Turgeon Architects, in addition to other individuals who have played a key role in the success of this project: CPort President and CEO Gene Ardito; cPort board members Scott Paquet and Jim Cloutier; Quincy Hentzel, CEO of the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce and a member of cPort’s board; and Deb Andrews, Historic Preservation Program Manager for the City of Portland.
