Black Point Inn – Scarborough, ME

Built in 1878 by the Kahler family, Black Point Inn is a historic Maine oceanfront hotel located on Prout’s Neck in Scarborough. Surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean on three sides, the hotel is renowned for its New England architecture, picturesque location and exceptional hospitality.

GTA has taken great care in renovating the space over the years, preserving its character while adding modern comforts. In the dining room, we have provided custom millwork and lighting designs, as well as interior finish selections.

Our interior design team also worked with the Black Point Inn to update their guest rooms, refreshing the carpet, paint, wall coverings, dressers, soft seating, tables, artwork, window treatments, linens and lighting schemes. In updating the furniture, we incorporated options with integrated outlets and USB ports to enhance functionality while maintaining classic elegance.
